hAnglar & stAnglar card

One of my few hAnglar and stAnglar images - I have coloured this little chap using my Promarkers. All the papers have been inked around the edges using Old Olive SU ink.
The papers are one of my fav Basic Grey Collections - Archiac - it is just perfect for male cards.
The cork three is Making Memories, lace, pearly bling and owl all from my stash.

This card was made for my nephew Caleb - who was 3 on Monday (along with my Sam who was 9!) - there are photos of Caleb and his cake on my little sisters blog here .

Thanks as always for looking

Ladybug Tilda

How cute is she? I love this stamp and there is no getting away from it I do prefer making girly cards as I can add lots of flowers and pretty things!!
I have used my new Basic Grey Kioshi Collection papers! The Tilda stamp is Ladybug Tilda and she has been coloured in using pro-markers and prisma pencils. The papers have all been inked using SU lavender ink and the sentiment and punch is also Stampin Up! I have used my Martha Stewart Branch Punch and the paper roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts. They have been glittered using stickles, the ribbon and pearls and pin is from my stash.

The Scrapping MoJo is back - thanks to Ally Pally and new purchases!!
This LO didn't require much work - thanks to fabby piece of Prima paper!! - Photos are of me and my boys taken on Mothers Day in March. I have used Prima Marketing Paper - Watercolor Rainbow Collection "Because" - all I have added to it is a Chipboard 'b' and some Prima flowers and bling and a couple of photos and journalling and the LO is complete!
The chipboard 'b' is Basic Grey that has been painted with Blonde Moments acrylic paint, I have stamped over the paint with Stampin Up script stamp and then Diamond Glazed it and a few BG pearls
The swirl is Prima and perfectly matches the paper!

The flowers also matching the paper identically - Prima flowers Essentials No 9 (Watercolour collection) and I have used Papermania pearly brads for the centre.

The journalling reads.......because make me proud make me a better person make me patient make me laugh make me cry make me smile make me strong make me see the world through different eyes

A Couple of Cards

Sorry I've not blogged for ages but life just gets in the way sometimes!! I have been working lots of extra hours at work and I have managed to pick up an extra night shift too - hopefully this is only temporary and I can cut down my night shifts as planned in the summer!
This card is actually one I really struggled with and I hope the recipients liked it - I had to make a wedding card for a couple who were having a non-traditional wedding. They are a 'rock' couple and were getting married in black and mauve and the request was for a personalised card. I have used a stamp from Catslife Press. I have used inks and ribbon from Stampin Up, Co-ordinations cardstock and a cuttlebug embossing folder, pins and pearls from my stash.

A couple of Easter cards - a quick rush job to send one to my Mum and my Sister (so rushed I forgot to write in my sisters card!!!). I have used a new image from Magnolia's Hoppy Easter 2010 collection - Bunny Tilda. I have coloured her in using Prisma pencils and I have inked the edges of the cardstock using SU inks and the sentiment is also SU. Prima flowers and ribbons, brads, and dew drops from my stash.
A close up of Tilda
Thanks for looking and hopefully I will update my blog more (it helps that it is the school holidays and I am off this week!!) and I always love to see your comments.
