More wedding stuff!

Lindsay and Joe's wedding was beautiful and I felt so proud when I could see my hard work on display!  I also met Lindsay's Mum who was so pleased with everything too.
Below is the table plan on display - complete with added ivy garland, flowers and fairy lights.
Wedding card box, Guest book and matching pen.
Personalised M&M's that my tags were made for,
in little green and yellow organza bags.
I love these - so cute!
Here are Mr and Mrs Froud (aka Lindsay and Joe) - looking so happy!
A quick photo of me and the gorgeous bride!
another little card I made for the occasion.

Wedding Day

This post is very picture heavy...so you have been warned!  It's here!  The wedding invitations I worked so hard on earlier in the year (see the original invite below), today is Lindsay and Joe's wedding day - and we have glorious sunshine!!
In addition to the invitations, RSVP, evening invitations, envelopes and directions I made everything below to co-ordinate and match.
Order Of Service - using the same font/ink/card and stamp set Pocket Silhouettes.  On the bottom is a photo of Joe and Lindsay - taken in Prague the day Joe proposed!
 Place Cards

Tiny Tags - using the SU Tiny Tags stamp set and Jewel tag punch - I made 130 of these, with yellow and white bakers twine - these are to go on the little bags of M&M's (which I will take a photo once I get one!!)
Daffodil Yellow and Whisper White to match everything.
The Wedding Card Box - a plain box I covered in white satin and I added the Daffodil Delight striped ribbon and daisies.  The lace (dyed yellow as before) and button match the original invitation.

Little thank you tag cutout using my big shot die, finished off with the same flower and pearl that was used on the original invite.

A little butterfly on top on the box to finish it off!
The Table Plan - only four tables so I had lots of space to work with, therefore I added the big bow and daisies to match everything else.
 Another butterfly too!

I was exhausted by the time I finished it all, but was pleased with the overall result - Lindsay and Joe loved it all and I cannot wait to see it all tonight at the venue - pop back soon and I am sure I will have some photos of the lovely Bride and Groom to show you!

Olympic Torch

Opening ceremony day - and we got to see the torch again at Sainsburys in Chichester - Ant was there raising money for PACSO
Sam didn't have a chance to have his photo taken with the torch last time so we made up for it today and I had my photo taken with the torch too!!

Thank you Ant for allowing us to share this moment - looking forward to the ceremony tonight!
Come back and visit me again soon

Creative Craft World - July mini kit

I have managed to make one 6 x 12 LO and two cards with this months mini kit.  The LO is to go in my PL album and is a photo of my niece Lucy - I added the spotty ribbon, brads, TH cog (highlighting the number one) and the mini alpha - all the rest of the elements are from the kit.  The flowers work so well with the papers.

I have used a WOJ stamped image - this has been coloured in using Prisma pencils.
Tiny tags and stamp set - from Stampin Up.
American Crafts thicker for the number one.
Here I have made my own rosette by cutting the paper in to three 2" strips, scoring them, sticking them together and then made my rosette - finished off with a button (from stash) and twine (from the kit).

Thanks for looking and please pop over to the CCW blog and check out what the rest of the DT have done with the kit!

Olympic Torch in Chichester

Just back from a morning in the city to see the Olympic Torch!  This was made even more special that we knew Ant, pictured below, who was one of the torch bearers!  Ant is a huge member of the community and plays a big part at PACSO (Parent And Carers Support Organisation) where Sam goes to after school clubs, Saturday morning clubs and a summer play scheme.  Without PACSO my life would be so much harder, as this is the only respite we get with Sam and his Autism.  Ant was voted by PACSO to carry the torch and it couldn't have gone so a more well deserving man!
Despite the rain we had a lovely morning and it was all over so quickly, but thankfully I got some photos.  Here is one of me and Jack, if you are wondering where Sam is, he was at the event but with his school (Jack's school is outside the city - so they had a special inset day!)
This is me and my friend Jackie.
My favourite photo - I was bursting with pride for Ant and such a good photo of Jack with Ant.
Hopefully we will see Ant again soon so I can get a photo of Sam with the torch too!!

Basic Grey POTM Kit - April 2012

Basic Grey POTM - April 2012 featuring PB&J paper collection.  This years POTM is following a theme - pretty much similar to the first year BG did POTM and my album ended up being a Book Of Me - this year I am doing a special album as I am 40 next month!!
This LO is about when I became a Mum - photos are of me with Jack.

And not so flattering photos of me when Sam was born - I do look pretty exhausted!!
Photos of Jack with his new baby brother, Sam.  Another LO for my 40th year album - this goes with the previous 2 LO's - Life is good, and my advice to me @ 16.
