Inspired Blueprints Sketch # 116

I hope you have all had a wonderful Christmas and are ready for the New Year!
This weeks sketch # 116
A photo of my Sam playing on his iPad - he's never far from this!
I have again used minimal PP and a bit of stamping, but lots of flowers, bling and butterflies!
The alpha, flowers and bling are all Prima.  Butterflies are from Etsy.

Thanks for looking and please pop over to the Inspired Blueprints blog and check out the rest of the DT's work!

UKS Christmas Blog Hop! - Thank you card

Christmas is a time of year where you give and receive lots of gifts and a little thank you is always appreciated. It is always a busy time of year so something simple and quick to make is always good!
Every year my local Paperchase shop sells little wooden table confetti - last year it was wooden trees and this year Stags and Trees - they cost £5.00 a box but they are full to the brim!
The trees were in three colours and stags in 5 colours.
With a few punches and coordinating cardstock I have made a selection of cards in minutes, and any left over (which there will be lots) the sentiment will change and I will start making next years Christmas cards!

Thanks for taking the time to look and can I take this time to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Inspired Blueprints Sketch # 115

This weeks sketch #115
Sometimes when it is cold and blustery here in the UK its good to scrapbook some warmer summer photos - these are of Jack last summer in 2012 - and he changed a lot since then!
I have used very little PP but lots of stamping - I have used some of my favourite Ali Edwards stamps.
My page just wouldn't be complete without a bit of bling too!

Thanks for looking and please go and hop of to the Inspired Blueprints blog and check out what the rest of the DT have done with the sketch!

UKS Weekly Challenge - December week 1

UKS Weekly Challenge - December week 1 - and this weeks challenge was set by my friend Sue, so it was obvious we were going to have a 'Sue Sketch'!

Use the sketch - Use a number and photo of a mother
I have used photos of me (the mother) and my boys - taken on the IOW back in June! I have used paper collection Echo Park - Harvest Lane.  The number 2 and I love the quote - 'The most precious jewels a mother wears around her neck are the arms of her children'

Thanks for looking!
