Birthday Book LO

If I can inspire any of my blog readers to do anything - go and make a simple Birthday Album of your children! Like many of us - I have boxes of photos - I did start scrapbooking the boys baby photos but I have stopped and scrapbooked more recent photos of them - I will get back to them one day!! However I did go through the boxes and found some of my fav photos of them from their first year - I scrapbooked them in a very simple style of A4 with one or two pics and some computer journalling and minimal embellisments - right up to their First Birthday - from this I have a template saved on my PC which has the same format I just change the details - This LO below is from Sam's 9th Birthday.

I record the celebrations - what we did and who came and celebrated with us, what cake we had and what was his favourite presents were. It means that I have a record of every birthday in the same album - and then I go and scrapbook the Birthday photos later and stick them in the current year album too!! It takes minutes to make the page - just print off on a piece of coloured cardstock - stick down the photos, a few embellishments, ribbon, rub-ons or stickers and there done!! So my advice is....Go and make your Birthday Album today!!!
