Me!

What do you do when its a Sunday afternoon and its chucking it down with rain.....you can't get on the PC as hubby is glued to it.....can't watch the TV as Sam is playing on the Wii......can't watch TV upstairs as Jack is watching a DVD....and you will do anything but the huge pile of ironing sitting in the garage......you sort through old photographs!!!
I have currently run out of coloured ink on my printer and photographic printing paper so if I want to do any scrapbooking then its old photos sitting in a box! I don't have a huge pile of photos from my childhood, some are discoloured and some are damaged but I've decided to take the plunge and stick them to paper!! I have a 8.5 x 11 album sitting empty on the side too!
All the cardstock I have used is American Crafts - they are sold in packs of 60 lose sheets and I have the Earth tones, Brights and Primaries you can get them here at Sarahs Cards. I love these sets as sometimes it is easier to take these to crops than my 12 x 12 cardstock.
The above LO is the earliest photos I have of my parents together - taken in 1970 when they got married and when the attended a wedding later that year. The butterfly embossed paper is SEI, BG Opaline pearls, Rainboots AC thickers, Making Memories butterfly charm.
1st photo of me - think I am about 4 months - the photos are very yellow and damaged (hence the flowers!). Prima Flowers, K&Co pink glitter alpha, ScrapFx chipboard swirl painted with Blonde Moments paint, PP DCWV Nanna's Nursery - girl.

One of my fav pics of me and my little sister - Rebekah, with Copper the cat. Basic Grey PP (Mellow and Ambrosia), Papermania alpha (loving these new alpha stickers at the moment!), WRMK Grommets, brads from stash and butterfly charm as before.

Me at 5 - about to have my hair dried - obviously off to a party as this was a bridesmaid dress I had worn the prev year. Heidi Grace rub-ons, Inkadinkado stamps (these stamps are fab!!) with pearl bling as before.

Me at 14. Papers are again SEI (yummy and shimmery!), BG chipboard numbers painted and embossed using Blonde Moments paint and embossing powder. WRMK grommet, Bling is also Basic Grey (under 14)

The only photo (and a bad one at that) of me when I did Work Experience at a Vet's surgery. PP is Basic Grey Periphery, chipboard letters from stash, WRMK grommet, Papermania alpha stickers.

Me at 18 - long permed hair - how 80's!!!
Making Memories glitter alpha, Inkadinkado stamp (gold ink - doesn't show up very well on photo) and lots of raindrops - Cloud 9.
Thanks for looking - I'm sure there will be more to follow if it keeps on raining!!
Love Sarah xxx
