Tim Holtz Style tags
Today I went to a workshop at Jendenink Craftworks - we made 6 Tim Holtz style tags - pictured below. I had a lovely day with Sue and Jan and Jennie was a fab teacher - I came home with 6 yummy tags and very inky fingers!
This tag was embossed using a Cuttlebug embossing folder and I have used TH Distressing inks - mustard seed, pine needles, rusty hinge and aged mahogony. I added some bling to the butterflies when I got home! This one was using yet another Cuttlebug die - the cogs have been painted with a silver crackle paint and the chipboard key has been double embossed with silver embossing powder and stamped with black archival ink. The colours used here were dusty concord, weathered wood and broken china.
This was probably one of my favourite tags - using TH dies and grunge board, colours used were spun sugar, tattered rose, aged mahogony and black soot.
This tag was embossed using a TH stamp and versamark ink and clear embossing powder. The TH inks are mustard seed, spiced marmalade, brushed corduroy, aged mahogony and black soot. The rosette is made by hand and I finished off at home with a TH button.

You can never have enough Distress Inks. I am a firm believer in that.
