GoGo Getaway - Part 2
We were given eight challenges before the GoGo Getaway retreat - and today I am going to show you the first four!
The page above is using Fancy Pants Life is Beautiful paper collection and these are photos of Sam and Rose. Rose was Sam's escort on the school bus, so she had been part of his school life morning and afternoon for over 7 years! It was time to say goodbye and I just knew how much she would miss him and as you can see from these photos how much he loved Rose.
I loved Esther's sketch and I have used lots of diecuts from the same collection, added some AC Thickers and a few spots of Nuvo crystal drops.
The next challenge below was Kirei's colour theme - and I have used a photo of me and my work buddies, which was take at Olivia and Tom's wedding in July 2016.
I have also followed one of Sue's sketches below from Sue's little sketch book that we made at the last Littlegreen retreat, back in January.
I have used Simple Stories - Summer Days paper collection and I added some Prima flowers from my stash, and my trusty Stampin Up! banner punch (which has now retired).
The wooden embellishment (I think) is Heidi Swapp and the paint splatter is a SU stamp, I have added some enamel dots and Nuvo CD.
The 3rd challenge below was to be inspired by Jo's quote and I choose to scrapbook this photo of a gorgeous sunrise at Durdle Door last September. This page also doubled up at the weekly challenge on UK Scrappers which was to use four PP's, butterfly, camera, and one photo.
I decided to use some papers I have had in my stash F O R E V E R...Prima Seashore paper collection, with an old (and saved) Prima Swirl - I do miss these, as I used to love them! The title is from Freckled Fawn and the butterfly is Etsy.
I used another one of Sue's sketches - I do enjoy starting with a sketch.
I added some flair and brads from the same collection, cork star and again some Nuvo CD
Its probably quiet difficult to see but the page was spritzed with a Ranger copper paint and I added some splatters of ink using my gorgeous grunge stamp set from Stampin Up!
Challenge four was a scraplift by Giselle - and here we have a photo of Dadda and his boy, this was Pete's birthday. He had an individual cake from Patisserie Valarie (as I was trying to diet!) and we stuck a candle in it!
I have again used Simple Stories Summer Days paper collection, lots of paint/ink and enamel dots and the stars are from Bella BLVD.
I think the large fabric brad is prima and the centre of the flower is defiantly Prima.
The title is cork and is Freckled Fawn.Come back tomorrow to see the next four challenges I completed!
