At the end of the rainbow - CCW Birthday Blog hop - Orange!
Hello!! As part of the CCW birthday blog hop the DT were asked to do a project using one of the colours of the rainbow - I was orange and chose to do a scrapbook page! I also incorporated the UKS August week 3 challenge - which was to use ribbon differently, tearing, stitching (real or faux) and scrap something from the last month.
I have scrapped some photos of my furbaby, Dara who was finally enjoying some sun after we had such a wet June! You can see the tearing and the faux stitching around the photos. I used a Cosmo Cricket Gluber (giant glue dot) to make a rolled rose ribbon flower. All the flowers are from my stash but I sure the majority of them are Prima. The title is American Craft Thickers - Bones font.
The balloon is die cut which I got from the States (and got stung for VAT!!!) - but it was worth it - I love it!! I have used a cloud mask from That Special Touch and used ink and a sponge dauber to make the clouds.
I inked the edges of the balloon to make it stand out and added stickles to the embossed parts of the balloon.
Thanks for looking and make sure you hop to Michelle's blog tomorrow for our Yellow Project, and if you haven't already visited Susi's blog for our Red Project, you can hop there now. Make sure you visit all the DT blogs this week so you are in with a chance to win a prize from Lou at CCW!
