What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday #430
Yay for Wednesday - and another WOYWW! My desk is looking a lot more tidy and organised since the last WOYWW (2 weeks ago) - I am getting there, as much as the long school holidays have been unsettling for Sam (and me, to a certain degree) - it has caused me to keep on top of a few things - one: my never ending pile of paperwork and two: a little bit of scrapping. As some of you know I have struggled to get back into the scrapping mojo since moving, but its all about getting organised, which is a slow process! This desk does double up, or should I say, triple up to a office desk, cat sleep zone and crafting area - so I do need to get it a bit more organised, I am hoping to get my photos sorted soon and catch up with some pages and Project Life (which I am way behind on) and I still haven't finished scrapping my Disney album and that holiday was October 2015!
It was my Birthday yesterday and I had some gorgeous flowers delivered to me by my friend Lindsay, I love Bloom and Wild flowers - this is the second lot of flowers I have had from them - they are just simply beautiful and I have these sitting on my desk as there are already some on the dining table. Do you spy the sparkly/glittery Hendricks Gin bottle - a gift from my awesome sister, who knows me very well....next to my New York Starbucks cup, which I purchased when I went to NYC back in October 2016, again with my little sister and we had the most amazing holiday.
Work almost in progress - A photo of Jack waiting to be scrapped and some memorabilia from yesterday, again another memory to be scrapped too.
Yesterday I took my boys to London to see the Autism Friendly Performance of Aladdin - it was brilliant, the songs, performers, costumes everything was incredible and it was all set at a perfect level for my Sam - he loved the show, even if we did have a bit of a 'blip' when we had to evacuate the theatre when someone set the alarm off!
Here he is outside the theatre, very excited to go in!

Here is Sam and I waiting for the show to start. We had a lovely afternoon/evening and the National Autistic Society and the Theatre crew/staff should be very proud of what they achieved yesterday - it was bedlam inside the theatre, but everyone clearly enjoyed it.
As for the boys (the furry ones) - they are in today as its raining! We have had the most gorgeous Bank Holiday weekend, end to end sunshine and warm weather. BBQ's, ice creams and sitting in the summer house. However today we are in the conservatory keeping dry - and as Dara is clearly demonstrating below, sleeping the day away!
Sandi however is a little bit damp as he has just come in from the rain and is now drying off in the conservatory. Hard life being a cat!
Thanks for stopping by and listen to me waffling on!!
Please pop over to Julia's blog and post WOYWW!
